Support for Lion
CloudPull 1.5 has been tested extensively on both Snow Leopard (Mac OS 10.6) and Lion (Mac OS 10.7). Lion is scheduled for release in July.
QuickLook Improvements (Lion only)
CloudPull 1.5 contains dramatic improvements to the CloudPull QuickLook feature. These improvements are only available under Lion. Under Snow Leopard, QuickLook operates just as it did before. Under Lion, QuickLook previews display a much more detailed view of the selected backup file.
Backup Processing and Scheduling Improvements
There are several improvements to the backup processing and scheduling algorithms:
- If you add an account or enable backup of a service on an account while a backup is in progress, CloudPull will no longer re-retrieve item lists for other accounts.
- If you remove backup exclusion rules while a backup is in progress, CloudPull no longer re-retrieves item lists.
- Backing up Contacts and Google Reader items is much, much faster.
- Retrieving and processing lists of items is now much faster and easier on the CPU.
