Reddit announced that they are removing their RSS feeds. They wrote:
Because RSS is now a common surface for large-scale scraping and automated abuse, we’ll stop supporting RSS feeds on November 13, 2026 while preserving moderation workflows that depend on it through supported alternatives.
I am disappointed because I know that many Unread customers use Reddit’s RSS feeds to keep up with subreddits.
Unread can find an RSS feed for a subreddit by searching by just its name, like “r/iosapps”. I will remove that functionality in an update after Reddit shuts down the feeds.
Hat tip to Manton Reece, who posted about this news before I became aware of it.
