Reddit recently announced that they will remove their RSS feeds on November 13, 2026.
For a while it looked like subscribing to subreddits in Feedly accounts would still work. Feedly made subscribing to subreddits work via the Reddit API, separate from Reddit’s RSS feeds. However, Reddit has since abruptly cut off Feedly’s access to the Reddit API and terminated Feedly’s contract with Reddit. Feedly’s access to subreddits via the Reddit API has already stopped working.
New articles will stop appearing in Reddit feed subscriptions once Reddit removes their RSS feeds. On or shortly after that day, I will release an update to Unread that removes the ability to find a subreddit’s RSS feed by entering its name (such as “r/macapps”).
